Very nice helmet Eric. Baden pickelhauben are hard to find and that unit mark is a plus.

I can't see this leather helmet protect you from anything other than pigeon droppings!

Is it true Pickelhaubes only fit Sauer Krauts? I was also looking thru a collection and noticed that the majority are very small, were Germans known for smaller heads then?

In 1915 all folks were smaller.

Dave, yes, its so fragile. George told me to rest the helmut on a canned something to prevent it from the leather crown from bearing any weight and most important supporting its leather integrity. Thank You George!
