Help with valuing a Luger from 1917
Picked this up from a family friend for $2500. *Not sure if i did well or not. *He set the price and i just agreed. *What do you guys think of it. *My knowledge of older firearms is very low. *So anything interested here please shout it out.

The Artillery Luger alone is worth that.

Seems like you did well. Figure $2500-$3k for the gun, ballpark $1300 for the snail drum mag. and probably $800-$1000 on the holster with stock (Very approx. values).
Interested to see more photos (with a plain background) and to hear if everything works well, matches, etc. Good find and you should be glad that you jumped on it. I certainly would have. dju |

I can't tell you about prices in your Country, but according to the prices you could find in my Country I think you did it damn well! Congrats and enjoy your artillery. |

Your friend left $2k on the table at retail and $1k even to a friend, JMHO- now I have to call all my luger "friends" and see what they have.:D |
