Some sort of collector...
1 Attachment(s)
I've seen this picture in another forum, then I thought that's exactly what I feel like every time I go to a gunshop.
In my case it's some sort of desease called "compulsive buying"... :roflmao: |
I guess not much of a load for a young guy but I don't know if I could pick all that up!
|
I'll bet if you were allowed to keep all you could pick up that load wouldn't be a problem :D
|
I feel sure that I would be exactly like the G I in the photo, if not worse!!!
|
I'll bet if you were allowed to keep all you could pick up that load wouldn't be a problem..Boy! You pegged that one..depending on how far away my car was..But as an old Airborne Infantryman I remember sawing the handle off my toothbrush to lighten my load in the central highlands.

Hmmmm...Three MP40's, one MG-34, one MG-42, and what must [hopefully!] be his personal rifle hung just above the fabric ammunition bandolier...
Really should close the feedcover on the MG-34... |
Somehow, with all that fire power in his hands, his Garand is still close... Thank you John Cantius...
I like the look on his face... "You want to trade what?????" Marc |

There's a MP 38 if you look close.
Original bolt, as well. This pic has been around a while. |

Given the lack of snow, gloves, etc, I doubt that the photo was taken at the "Bulge". |
I love this picture.
The MG42 is all I would I need (and a buttload of ammo). He should just take the vehicle behind him instead of walking! - Geo |
It seems to me that he got these items as clean up after a battle. Why consider him a collector?
