This was a stretcher bearer and ambulance company. This Battalion would have been attached to the First Saxon Army Corps, number X11(12) in the Imperial German Army. The grip wear tells allot! See George Anderson's narrative attached~Thank you George!

Thank you! I was astonished just how much use this luger survived over 105 years to be in my hands. The fact that all pieces are matching is a living testament of how well they were made and cared for. Thanks to George this luger has been brought back to life and rediscovered! The grip wear alone is evidence of a hard war. I suggest you research your war luger and I'm sure George will be there to share his vast knowledge! Eric

Thank you my friend! I took a look at the grips and their wear patterns. They show a right hand owner and the most grip wear I have ever seen! The inner proofs are solid!
