Vlims and Mauro's book has original documents and dates

If I'm not wrong in 1967 MAUSER WERKE bought machinery and tooling from W+F BERN to manufacture the Parallum again, but apparently especially at the begining MAUSER still used many spare parts of Swiss production, so the very first MAUSER were made in 1968/1969 but were very similar to the W+F BERN 06/29.

In November 1971 MAUSER made some processing changes that made the production more similar to their old P.08

Kind regards.

From "The Parabellum in Back" by Mauro and Gerben,

There was a pre-production 29/65 W+F Model produced in Bern at Interarms request. There was also a group of "P" pre-production models produced by Bern in December, 1968. They were renumbered into Interarms' Mauser's numbering system in January, 1969. They were in 7.65mm and 9mm.

Display models were shipped in 1969. .30 Luger s/n 10.0001, 10.0010-10.0012 were prototypes. SN ending in "0001" through "0010" went to officers of Mauser, executives of close companies and Sam Cumming at Interarms.

A shipment receipt from January 1970 shows shipment of 7.65mm guns ranging from sn ending in "1014" through "1060".

Pilot group shipped in the 29/70 configuration in early 1970. Earliest date on known extant test targets is December, 1970. Shipments through 1986, an artillery for the Italian market. It was produced after publication of Mauro's book on the Artillery Luger.

One 9mm in the pilot group in 1969. Unable to date them with an extant target until sn 11.005100 in 1972.

Shipments through 1990, a special for the IWA meeting.

A "20 years model" commemorative was made up in 1990 to celebrate 20 years of Mauser production 1971-1991.

Interestingly, a couple were made up in .45acp in 1973 and 1974!
