<div>The results of some major rust pitting? It is a darn shame since the rest of the gun looks so good! I know that if the barrel were removed that it could probably be turned smooth safely without disturbing the barrel contour very much, but unfortunately, that would also remove the stamps on the underside of the barrel.. Decisions...Decisions!!!<br />

John, that is an area I MASKED with Tape to protect the proof/acceptance markings, It will come off when it is blued! Wondered how long it would take before someone noticed. Dok did as well in a private email! Thanks for WATCHING! Thor
