Interarms Luger, NIB....
I am not the seller, but I was wondering what this Luger might actually be worth.

Asking price is in the ballpark of what they seem to have been going for on Gunbroker and at auctions lately. One could find an original P.08 for this kind of money, but in another sense, a nice Luger is a nice Luger, and the 70's Parabellum pistols are becoming increasingly collectible in their own niche. Where else would one encounter a brand new Luger for $1500?!

Cannot see the pictures. Does it look better than this one?
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=539754400 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=533824562 Same gun. This seller bought it in January, and sell in Feb... no profit. |
That price seems high ballpark to me. The P08 classic model brings a bit more than the Swiss pattern, and the 6in bbl. brings a little bit more than the std. 4in bbl. I watched the values pretty closely for a while when I was looking for one, and, after I got mine. I haven't checked them in the last month or so. With the gun located in Calif. and NIB, that could increase the price also.

About $300 over priced.

As David said in his post "70's Parabellum pistols are becoming increasingly collectible " those Lugers are getting more requested here too.

Buyer of an item over $1k, of course, was not really stucking on $50. But it has been listed for a while, I don't want to stuck on $50 either. So I gave up on a few packs of Marlboros. After selling, quite a few viewers made backup offers. So, at $1100 - $1200, the demand is strong. |
