broken hiatas

Well I broke my hiatas of many months and purchased my first Erfurt. Should be here in 5 or 6 days.
Wish me luck
Jack

Sorry you broke something, but tell us a little more about the Erfurt, and why is it the first?

We are looking forward to seeing the pictures of your new acquisition.
Good luck!

It is just my first Erfurt. I have a story to go with that scenario. A friend at church heard (about four years ago) that I was starting to collect Lugers and said that he had a few and that he had an Erfurt. I kept trying to get an invitation to see his guns; with hopes of buying it. About ten days ago I was invited to his home. He has only crap. I asked to see the Erfurt. He looked at me and said he never told me that. O.K.
But he does have a sweet Broomhandle Carbine - in the original box. WOW
Thanks
Jack

If you didn't know what it meant, a "broken hiatas" sounds painful.:p:thumbup:

No picture on that?

That's very unusual. Very very few carbines are in original box. I mean, genuine ones. But there are many aftermarket carbines sitting in wood boxes. I have seen at least 5 or 6 of them in local gun shows.

But who knows. There could be surprise. Only picture talks.

All I remember of the box the broomhandle was in is that it had green felt lining and it showed years of wear and appeared to match the age of the weapon. It was sub-divided into places for accessories, cartrdiges, etc. I think.

Persuade him to list that carbine for sale. Selling that one will equal selling 5 pistols. Less effort and more money :)

Alvin:
I don't want him to sell it to just anyone. I want him to sell it to ME.
Thanks
Jack
