Consecutive Numbered N prefix Lugers

1 Attachment(s)
I've been working on some photos for my website and really like consecutive numbered guns!

Around 1953 the East Germans were in short supply of parts for the P.38 and Luger pistols.

They made a short run of "N" prefix guns with frames and parts.

P.38 production of these were short lived with about 110 P.38's and 100 Luger frames made in Suhl factory before the Russians supplied them with Soviet made pistols. The Luger frames have no stock lug on them.

I acquired this consecutive numbered set many years apart but they are together once again, they were in the factory side by side on the assembly line and now reunited ...

One pistol has two matched mags and the other just one. I hope you also like the EG holsters :)

Mark's consecutive-numbered N-prefix East German Lugers are prominently featured and profiled in "Police Lugers". Mark, thanks again for the opportunity.

Gerben has also managed to re-unite a pair of sequential East German Lugers:
