Chinese C96 Extended Magazines-ALVIN
1 Attachment(s)
Have someone looking to move these. He says they tend to go for $300, each?
Alvin, any thoughts? |
20 rounds 7,63 Mauser?

This probably depends on who's looking at them.
There are collectors on Chinese Broomhandles, but I don't think they would have interest on these two magazine well extensions -- because these were not historical items. There were newly made for American C&R market by Chinese contractors in 1980s. Still has some value for range use. But $300 is too high -- complete Ruby pistols made in 1920s could only sell $175 - $275, retail. How could this new sheet steel sell $300 a piece... The value depends on buyer... for this one,,, $50 ?? I mean $50 for two of them?? Be honest, even for $50, I won't buy -- I have no use for them, and they are not collectible either. We do need parts, but we only need factory parts made in that era. |
Yes, this comes from a Chinese AK board, where ANYTHING Chinese seems to be highly sought after and overpaid for.

I agree with you, all this is helped by a lot of disinformation and superficiality on many wholesalers, importers and gunshops, that often describe their goods as "genuine and original" ones. Unfortunately a serious collector should never really "trust" any seller's word and always double-check everything. |
