Okay, I have a love - hate relationship with Eugene :)
I have met him a couple of times and he seems like a very nice guy, his speed at getting things done is pretty atrocious. But as many have said, if willing to wait, and you bug him you will get results. Very nice, excellent results.

I needed some parts for shooters and we happened to be talking. he needed some 1900 parts (I had a frame and upper) that he could use. He has a CNC (or two) that is he very proud of and has spent far to much time, rather than working on my carbine.

Ok, enough complaining about the poor guy.

Yesterday I received several breachblocks, sideplate levers, holdopens, extractors, ejectors, one take down lever and a few small parts. Oh, and an extremely nice artillery sight. The hold opens I think you may have to slightly hand fit, it went right in but it seemed a bit high, but then each DWM, Erfurt or Mauser will work with one sideplate and not another (as an example).

All the work is top-notch and still in the white (you can order it blued, but obviously you'd want to match it with what you have).

All in all, except for original parts, they seem to be better than repro stuff I have looked at from several major internet companies.

Very nice, the rear sight was very detailed. I am not sure if to exact specifications, but several other parts (a hold open and a sideplate lever, I already put in a shooter and they work fine).

ED. Are the parts shown, ones that you are making? The ejector shown is a M1900 type and not interchangeable with the standard PO8. The hook on the bottom of the extractor appears to be a bit short. TH

Tom, Eugene makes these and these are parts I got from him. And I asked for some 1900 parts.

Artillery rear sight is of the 'fine tune' style. I have always considered these to be less desirable than the 'solid' leaf artillery sights. :(

However, Eugene's price on these is comparable to an original used artillery rear sight assembly.

Just curious,
what is the price on the sight or any of these parts?

FYI

All parts are direct copies of original parts , usually sizes are taken from DWM parts, several at the time , with assistance of original set of blueprints.

Average sizes taken for a base and then resulting parts are tested in several guns.

Mostly tested on DWM guns.
