Update II on Luger trigger and sights
Hello and thanks everybody, just a quick update as you requested John. I shot a box if Wolff roundnose through my 1936 shooter, worked perfectly. At 50' it now shoots about 3/4" to left (widened rear sight notch to right) and makes a 2" group right over the 3" bullseye of a 50' NRA target. At 25 yards, it makes a 3" group in the top left quarter of the 5.5" black bullseye. Hugh's modification of my aftermarket grips make a splendid addition to my reblued, matched number shooter. I may take a coil off of the firing pin spring, the trigger is still a little heavy.

I suggest that you straighten the trigger bar spring & lighten the trigger spring before shortening the firing pin spring. Tom h.

Re: Update II on Luger trigger and sights
I already am using a lighter trigger return spring. Isn't there a danger of breaking the trigger bar spring if I mess with it? The primers from fired cases show very good indentations, therefore I feel the firing pin spring is more powerful than needed???
