As promised: M714 Internal pictures

Since I greased the gun's internal after I inspected it. Taking pictures require removing those internal grease. That's very dirty work. And no matter how to do it, always left some lint on the parts. Please forgive the pictures quality.
Enjoy. |

Three more pictures. That's it.

Always been fascinated by the fact that the lockwork pops out as a singular unit. Excellent pictures.

Albert viewed another sample in a big collector's show room. But he did not disassemble that one. It's virtually a "mixmaster" created by factory. Nothing new, except a few steps skipped in frame making process, then, things re-combined. The barrel is a pure Schnellfeuer barrel. Blued muzzle indicated post 1936 production.
This is the last variation Mauser ever made in C96 history. |
