Luger without markings?
8 Attachment(s)
Hello, this is another Luger i would appreciate your help identifying and give some idea what is a reasonable price to ask for.
It has no id numbers and is mixed with 2 sets of serial numbers. Firing pin does not have any numbers ,toggle pin has no number. Magazine, barrel, trigger, release, toggle, side plate(on bottom)3174 b have all the same serial number. The receiver 3859 b and the rest of the numbered parts are the same. Could this be a DMW which assembled from parts 1930's for the police ? it is in excellent condition besides the million dollar chip. The grips have no number inside except a S/42 stamp. As always ,thank you for efforts Guenter |
It's rare. But this type of rarity was not created by factory nor government contractor, so it's not a plus but a minus. A few hundred dollars I guess.

Yes, it could be, likely was I think. At any rate it was/is a police Luger having the sear safety, but mis-matched along the way, some where, some time.
I'll give you a few hundred for it! Joking aside on the value, really no way to tell, just price it and put it here on the trader or describe and picture well and go with an auction. Since it will likely be a "shooter" for someone, include bore condition and if you have fired it or not. Could bring $500 or $1500, no way to tell on an auction, JMHO. More pictures, lightened please, would help determine what it is. Be sure to include all markings. |
