WOL Trip....The saga continues
![]() I did not get away unscathed, it just took me a little longer. I will let you guys (and gals?) figure out what it is. No prizes for correct identification. There is a large void in my gun case where several guns used to be and my bank account is wimpering like a scolded puppy!!

1903 Commercial?? Very nice, whatever it is...you must be very happy

Re: WOL Trip....The saga continues
Nice pistol. Just a guess but it looks like it could be a 1902 fat barrel Eagle. It is tough to tell without seeing the chamber crest. Nice strawing. Thanks for sharing.

That's quite striking Ron! Good buy for sure! I love it! Thor

I say it is 1 of 50 1903 Commercial's in mint condition.
This is a Crown Jewel whatever it is. A centerpiece of a major collection! Lucky you! Dan Clemons |
Good eye Dwight...1903 Commercial is correct.
The flat toggle knobs, rather than dished like a 1902, do not show up in the photo quite as well as I thought they would. Probably should have shot a close-up of the right toggle knob with the toggle lock.

Re: Good eye Dwight...1903 Commercial is correct.
Thankyew Actually, it was a matter of simple logic. The flat toggles were quite clear, the only other option (4" 1904 Navy) wouldn't have made your bank account cry that way.

Not quite mint Dan...but close enough!
