Posting Photos
 

I hope I'm in the right place for posting this problem.

When attempting to insert a photo from my computer (My Pictures) to a posting; after browsing and clicking Upload, I see nothing but a URL to the photo selected. I'm afraid to click to Post because I don't want to risk an incomplete posting. Am I ok? Just not going far enough, or what?

Would sure appreciate some help.

Welcome to the forum Jack. You're on the right track. Once you've clicked "upload" in the extra window, it will say "wait" until your image file is uploaded. When upload completes, the file will be listed below. At that point, it's part of the post and will appear once the post is posted. You can click on "preview" before that, if you want to see what it will look like. And you'll be able to edit the post at any time thereafter.

OK, thanks, guess I just didn't keep going far enough.

It is also possible that the photo was too large, although we have software (I should say John has software) that will help shrink it down.

So, if you try to upload and it does not work, that is likely the reason or you have a modem or something slow?

Try uploading a known small photo, like this (right click and save to desktop)

thanks Bob, I think half those guns have been sold and a few new ones added since then (that is when I was living in Colorado)
