Beautiful Holster Repair Work

Just another endorsement for Jerry Burney at Lugerholsterrepair. I've been lurk'n and learn'n here for over a year. I can see why Jerry is so widely acclaimed.

Attached are some before and after shots of the LP08 holster I recently ran across (with 1916 pistol). Top disconnected, straps broken, leather "dry as a cracker" according to Jerry), other stitching needed.

I couldn't me more pleased with his work. VERY reasonable - and very knowledgeable, I might add - and a little over a week turn around time - most of that was mailing to and from.

Its a shame about the branded in initials, but it is what it is. I'm happy with it. Never even thought I'd be able to own an Artillery rig until I stumbled across this one in a gun store. I think part of the reason it was so reasonable was the condition of the holster. (Glad they didn't know about Jerry :)

This was the response I had on this thread in the other Luger forum:

Could not agree more with the above description of the master craftsman quality regarding Jerry's leather work. He recently recondition/repaired some artillery dual mag pouches for me that included replacing the brass studs. The finished products were truly amazing (and at a very reasonable cost)!!

Seems to me that the best compliment of anyone's work is when they have repeat customers. These pouches were either the third or fourth time he has worked on leather for me. He is the only person I will use, as long as he has the patience to put up with me and my leather needs.

Thanks again Jerry,

Ron
