well, it's in rough shape, but I would imagine you don't see a full box of these very often?

I am shrink wrapping my ammo for moisture and making it more durable.

no idea when or where I picked it up.

Geo probably sold it to me :)

Ed,

Please add a side view of one of the cartridges.

I'll try tomorrow although it's blank. It does have staples on the ends, old staples.

I think Seiger wants a photo of one of the cartridges, not the box.

sorry, of course, but the box is sealed. Looks just like all the other 15-20 480c rounds I have? Not truncated, normal round nose.

What type of heat shrink are you using?

Edward Tinker 02-25-2015 10:30 PM

It is some stuff my wife bought at a hobby store, called Michaels.

I will try toget the actual name but probably after I get back on Tuesday. Wife says it's the same stuff that they use for gift baskets, she says it's shrink wrap called one she found was called Basket Accents.

Ed, if you just want to preserve and protect these boxes of ammo, consider the Foodsaver vacuum packing system. Toss a little bag of silica gel desiccant inside before you vacuum and seal, and your worries will be over. The heat-seal stuff will probably work better, though, if you want to wrap and seal the boxes individually inside something you can see through better.
