Questions about the byf 42 guns

Another member just posted some photos of a nice looking f block byf 42 and that got me thinking. I also have an f block byf 42 - number 8229f. Other than a few of the smaller parts (sear, firing pin, axle pin) the numbers match.

Like the other member's f block byf 42, mine has wooden scales and an unmarked magazine (blued body with squared bottom, aluminum base plate pinned through the center, base plate marked as (I think) a police magazine.)

I know 1942 was the last production year of the P.08, but at what letter block did production cease? Also, at what letter block did Mauser cease including the bore diameter on the bottom of the barrel?
TIA

Hello Bill, 1942 Military Mausers (German Army) Production was completed at the end of the K-Block. Production continued for a Portuguese Contract into the M-Block and continued with a Bulgarian Contract into the N-Block.

The bore guage value ceased in the middle of the D-Block.

Hope this helps. :)
