Hehe cool....Fokker Eindecker against a Sopwith. Too bad they dont spend the same effort on their beer as their commercials....Stella Artois tastes like horse urine.

lugerholsterrepair 01-26-2015 12:09 AM

Bob, Stella Artois tastes like horse urine. I don't want to know HOW you come to know that. But I will take your word for it. I prefer Mexican beer myself. Negra Modelo.

nukem556 01-26-2015 12:56 PM

mmm ok, Jerry..I guess I should amend that....Stella Artois tastes like what I imagine horse urine would taste like!

DavidJayUden 01-26-2015 02:08 PM

Jerry is right; it's best NOT to be an expert on the taste of horse urine...

Having been brought up with Ripple, Mad Dog 20/20', Boones Farm apple wine and the grape Manischewitz that I sampled as an alter boy for the morning Polish mass. Valley Forge Beer was by far the worse~ Eric

Eric:

Did you forget Thunderbird in your list of exceptional wines or perhaps this particular wine was only "popular" on the West Coast???

Agree Mexican is best, with Bohemia No. 1 and Negra Modelo No. 2... I was born & raised in Texas but have traveled the world, and there are a lot of good beers out there. BUT DO NOT try the local brew in China! Stay with Tsingtao, or you will come to know the WORST beer in the world. The funniest story is what younger kids drink in the UK, with all the fresh local brews. They like the imports - Budweiser from the U.S.A.

What's the word? - Thunderbird!

What's the price? - Thirty twice!

What's the reason? - Grapes in season!

If you have been to Viet Nam you know what bad beer is...Ba Moi Ba, "33".

alanint 01-29-2015 11:30 AM

Otherwise known as "Tiger Piss", Ron!

I happen to like Stella and grew up in Mexico, where Indio, Pacifico, Dos X, Superior, Carta Blanca and Tecate were also acceptable.

Having spent many days in my earlier years North of the border, I developed a taste for this one.

I have tried hard to forget about this very product. Singe Hi(sp) was much better, I thought.
