A different sort of a Swiss Luger:

Es kommt selten vor, dass jemand eine Pistole nach eigenen Vorstellungen entwirft und diese auch baut. Ein gewisser Philipp Sola aus Zürich hat dies 1970 getan. Nun ist das Kuriosum im Revolverkaliber .357 Magnum und mit Kniegelenkverschluss aus einer Sammlung herausgelöst worden und sucht einen neuen Besitzer.
Yours for CHF 6,250.00. Photos saved here.

...???...Is that a sideways toggle train??? :D

That's great!!! The toggle doesn't block your vision while firing!!! :roflmao:

I love it! Big mutha, too. I'm looking at the pics...I wonder if it throws the fired case off to the side...

Sideplate/trigger link is kinda kludgey...Ah! I see! It's the safety - blocks the sear directly.

Hmmm. 'NaturAktiv' is selling handwarmers...Weren't those banned here in the US???

I wonder where the recoil spring & ejector are located. Probably awkward to pull back the toggle with the knob on top. TH

That thing was made to shoot "gangsta" style.

If I'm to shoot .357 mag give me a model 27 any day.

Well, that's something you don't see every day....I bet it has some weird torque effects while shooting.

It seems like the knob on top is mean to initiate toggle movement. You would then grap onto the two recessed protrusions at the toggle knuckle to finalize a full pull on the toggle.

Experimental weapon! It is rare that someone designs a gun according to their own ideas and this also builds. A certain Philipp Sola from Zurich has done in 1970. Now the curiosity Revolver .357 Magnum and extracted with knee cap from a collection has been looking for a new owner.

Who is Philipp Sola? Did he make any other crazy designs like this?!

There is a coil spring inside the toggle. Also a strange 'lug' beside/under the barrel...

I want one! :D

(Thanks to Michael Zeleny and hayhugh for posting the links!)
