1972 Mauser .45 ACP Luger...

I noticed in John Walter's Book (the Luger Book) on page 173, there was one (1) .45 ACP luger built by Mauser in 1972 and was/is in the collection of Mr. Rolf Gminder. There is a nice photo in the book. Noticed it does not have the hook shaped trigger like the DWM test .45 luger had.

Does anyone know what this lguer sold for originally in 1972 and what its value is today ?

Hi,

If it is in Dr Gminder 's collection it didn't sell. Dr. Gminder is former managing director of Mauserwerke.

Hope this helps,

Tom

My experience with Mauser is that it is not completely true what we find in the book. I mean that, in general, Mauser made more special pistol for clients that are able to pay a lot. I am quite sure that more than one .45 Parabellum was made.
