Ah, the rare and desirable $5000 'Lugauser'!!!

A Chinese police gun. Not exactly sure why "Keep" was stamped on the grip, but after new regime was setup, there were numerous employees and guns left from the "old society" policing system. One step in the process was evaluating each person's history (for sure) and each gun's condition, which one to keep, which one let go, which one could continue serving, which one should be stopped.

So, a little bit history. But from gun value point of view, no much meat left on this bone.

Desirable and surely rare C96 sort of pistol, the only Luger here is the caliber.

It describes the gun as having "checkered wood grips" and a 7 7/8" barrel. Some flunky got the photos mixed up. Probably thought there was no difference anyway and that no one would notice.

Yes I've noticed it too, probably they were referring to their previous ad

The whole ad is one big joke.....hard to take it seriously.

Another good buy: http://www.gunsamerica.com//93813675...auser.htm?wl=1

Slight bulge?

I am unsure what this thread is about. Was the first posting a mistake?

More detailed wording can make a posting a bit better ;)

Is the mauser fat? What bulge? :D

You're right, I manage to notice the bulge only because you pointed it out.

Where to buy and sell guns in Italy? Internet, dealer's shop, auction house, pawn shop, estate sale, same?

Sergio Natali 12-04-2014 09:17 AM

I depends on the guns, generally from gunshops, but also from other private people if they have a gun to sell they can put an ad on this site: www.armiusate.it where you can find second hand guns.
Anyway the 95% of the actual transactions is generally made with gunshops, as the law about guns is pretty strict.
