Comerical or Military

How do you tell the difference between the commercial and the Military 1900 Swiss contract? I have attached photos and will attach photos of any other part of the gun to resolve this issue. Thank you, Hugh

Should be able to zoom in on these photos.

Your gun is military. It has the Swiss cross acceptance stamps on the barrel and receiver and the +/V military inspector (Voglesang) stamp.
Commercial Swiss do not have these marks and bear BUG commercial proofs/

Military contract Swiss model 1900s are identified by the Swiss cross proof and Swiss military acceptance marks on the left receiver, as seen in your example. The earliest Swiss military contract pistols have only the Swiss cross proof.

Swiss commercial Old Model Parabellums have the full suite of c/B,U,G German commercial proofs.

Your question was already rightly answered.

But I too have a question. What's the wrong ammo doing in the picture?

I only clean off enough of the bench to work on the current project. That way I always know where every thing is....Ya, right!
