Any help with this unit marking would be appreciated. It is on a 1915 DWM Luger.

I assume the marking is actually M.G.K.L.J.R.73.21. If so it indicates that the pistol was issued to the Mashinegewehr Kompagnie of Landwehr Infantrie Regiment 73. 21st weapon, machinegun Company of the 73rd Landwehr Infantry Regiment. May I know the serial number?

Thanks George, that is what I thought but needed confirmation. Serial number is 9510. Not sure if there is a suffix or not. Will have the pistol in hand later this evening and can provide some pictures then.
