Does the mag match? All other numbers match? Scotty has a similar pistol, maybe a bit nicer at pre98.com for $3850.

Thekidd76 11-02-2014 07:04 PM

Everything matches except the mag…thanks for the info.

snipershot1944 11-02-2014 09:04 PM

Scott's pistol has a matching mag. Figure $2500 plus or minus for yours.

IMO the gun alone is worth $1600 to $1800.

That poor holster!

Thekidd76 11-02-2014 10:08 PM

Yea the holster has seen better days for sure. Between the overall condition, and the replaced front closure strap, it looks like its had a rough life.

i think the numbers on the top of xtractor is missing

Thekidd76 11-03-2014 02:31 PM

Good eye Ben…I didn't even notice that. I'll get a closer look when I get home.

While you are there, raise the front tip of the extractor up to see it it has the loaded warning on the left side.

No number on the extractor. Left said said GELADEN…pic added to the photo bucket.

Lugerdoc 11-04-2014 12:41 PM

If your extractor is from a DWM commercial, it should have the last 2 digits of a serial stamped inside. TH

Thekidd76 11-04-2014 01:16 PM

I'll pull it apart and look tonight Tom. Where exactly would I be looking?

***Found a pic of where I would be looking…will update later.

Thekidd76 11-04-2014 07:58 PM

Pulled the extractor..no serial on the bottom or inside of the extractor either.

things break and need to be replaced. especiale on 100 year older gun. may not be the ideal, but reasonable for some collectors. it is still a lpo8 luger :)
