Proud of my new toy from the Rock Island Auction. 1900 Swiss Contract Luger with all (locking bolt, trigger, grips, everything!) matching numbers. Replaced blued extractor with original strawed extractor. repaired declared loose trigger by putting in missing spring. 1700.00 plus BP and shipping.etc.

It looks like you made a great buy on a very desirable pistol Hugh, congratulations and thanks for posting the photos.

Excellent! Very nice pistol, and you're all set now, having installed the needed un-numbered original parts! Four of my shooters, won also on RIA, came to me a little cheaper because of their issues, half of which were things like grip safety springs. I'd love to have one of these 1900 configuration pistols that's a shooter! I envy your great fortune!

Very nice!

Be sure to check the firing pin guide - they break or crack and you can't tell until you take it out. :)

I striped her all the way down and all looks well. Did not put a loupe on the parts, but with all marked parts, I will not be shooting her anyway! My gunsmith rated the gun at 90%. The strawed extracted I replaced came from the factory unnumbered so no error no foul. The straw on all the parts match. It will take a while for the newness to ware off for me!

Hi Hugh, and congratulations on your Swiss 1900 Luger. These are very nice Lugers, and are particularly precision made.

It's especially nice that yours came with it's holster. The Swiss took very good care of these pistols.

Yes the holster was well cared for, don't know how, but has no cracks, nor is it stiff or hard. Must be the leather they used, It is marked: L.G. Walther - Battler Bern - 03 The gun is numbered 1264 so I take it that the gun was made in the same year or before. The gun number is also written in script on the holster flap. There a also a couple of stamp marking inside the flap.
