Going through an old photo album, I found these two :)

I was working as CQ (Charge of Quarters) / Unit Armorer in the evening - as we had to issue 45's and 38's to our MP's.

From what I remember, we had racks of about 100 or so, I think we had 220 or 230 45's and M16A1's (one per soldier).

I remember those 'Xmas trees'...They weighed 200 pounds without pistols!!! :soapbox:

yes they were very heavy. When we went to the field I remember them manually carrying them...

Looks like my old arms room in Kirchgoens Germany back in '82.....I was in the 3/36Inf and we also had a couple of old Garand M1D sniper rifles, and for some reason, a M3 grease gun! ( Somebody must have lifted it from a tanker haa)
