Arms room 45's and M16's
2 Attachment(s)
Going through an old photo album, I found these two :)
I was working as CQ (Charge of Quarters) / Unit Armorer in the evening - as we had to issue 45's and 38's to our MP's. From what I remember, we had racks of about 100 or so, I think we had 220 or 230 45's and M16A1's (one per soldier). Ed |
I remember those 'Xmas trees'...They weighed 200 pounds without pistols!!! :soapbox:

Looks like my old arms room in Kirchgoens Germany back in '82.....I was in the 3/36Inf and we also had a couple of old Garand M1D sniper rifles, and for some reason, a M3 grease gun! ( Somebody must have lifted it from a tanker haa)
