Stopped in Academy today, they had Fiocchi 30 Luger on clearance for $14.95 bx. I remember someone here a few months ago had found some then and I had gone to the 3 stores in my area without any luck. I guess it pays to keep checking, I came home with 600 rds..

That is a wonderful price for Fiocchi 30 Luger ammo. I notice that the boxes in the photo are of JSP bullets. Every Luger is different, but my Lugers do not like this bullet, and they become jam-a-matics. Others on this forum state no problems with this ammo. I used to purchase Fiocchi 30 Luger ammo from Abel's Shooting there in Texas. Thanks for posting. All ammo is slowly but surely starting to show up on the shelves these days. Now, if pistol powder would do the same thing.

We will see, I have several 30 cal Lugers and a HiPower to try them out in.

Steve, wow excellent, I would have bought some too.

I wonder why it was on clearance?

Ed, I was wondering the same thing. I had checked this store a cpl months ago and they didn't have any. Seems like a short amount of time to receive inventory and then put it on clearance.

Yep,I have 1 of 1500 that was imported to this country.I believe it was 1989 and i think it was Davidson's that was selling them. I remember seeing them in Shotgun News. They were selling them for $269 or so. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow,

Heh, any ammo on "clearance" these days is a rare thing.
<<<<Need to swing by Academy myself!

I will almost guarantee that the JSP ammo will work 100% in you BHP. I have a Bar-Sto 30 Luger "conversion" barrel in one of my BHP, and it is happy with every bullet/ammo type that I feed it.

Good luck with the Fiocchi ammo in your Lugers. It sure would be great if everything works as hoped for.

Pics as requested, note the 7.65mmP marked magazine and barrel. This one is dated 1981(PZ). There were several variations of these, 2 different slide addresses and sights(which I have not seen).

Steve et al, I have a spare new 7.65mm marked original Browning HP mag available @$50 + $10 priority S&H for any of you owning this pistol. TH

Very cool!

I have been looking for a 7.65 Parabellum P-38 (I believe Manurhin made some), now I'll have to add a Hi-Power to my bucket list... :D

Tom,

I will take the FN HP mag in 7.65 P, and will get a check off to you today.
