A 1902 Luger carbine ( 70's Mauser)

On Guns International there is a 1902 carbine made I think in the 70's by Mauser It is item # 100433565.

Assuming it all checks out ( that most dangerous of all words) I'd love to hear opinions on the asking price of $12,000.00.

Thanks Michael

Although the price is pretty significant, of all of the 1970s Mauser commemoratives the carbine is the best of the lot in my opinion. This one is complete with all of the accessories. If I was a lot more wealthy, I would invest in it. I think it will hold its value well.

I think it looks nice because it doesn't have the Interarms import marks and has German proofs on it. Made for the European market and perhaps imported by a G.I.?

I would love to own it but I wouldn't be able to control myself and would shoot the value out of it.

I'm happy getting my luger fix by working on and shooting my navy style shooter. Still, if I won the lottery…

Only 250 were made, and they should be numbered that way.

The serial number on that one does not match the range, so it was probably assembled later...

Gerben,
Low serial number and in range it think. Looks like "022 von 250" to me.
