Help with ID

Im new to the forum,I just picked up a luger from a local estate. It is a commercial DWM no date it is a 5 digit serial number with a BUG marked barrel. It has no stock lug and does not have a hold open.it came with 2 wooden bottom mags and a strange holster that is a Nazi era rework.I just joined and don't know to post pics.any one heard of a luger without a hold open feature?Thank You Jay Parisi

The early guns came without hold opens. Some military guns had them added, some never did. But it certainly suggests that yours is an early gun. Grip safety?
Work on those pictures, it ain't rocket science, but can be frustrating the first time, but is very important.

There's a quick & dirty 'posting pics' guide here -

The forum may not allow you to post pics until you post a couple more times...just post more info to this thread and keep trying to attach pics...

Sounds like an early 1908 commercial.
