Prayer request
 

My very dear friend, and fellow forum member, Mike c, has received a double shot of bad news. First, a couple of weeks ago, his 14 year old son was diagnosed with testicular cancer. To compound his bad news, his mother passed away unexpectedly last week. His son is responding well to treatment and is expected to make a full recovery. Mike is a wonderful friend and very knowledgeable forum member. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

I hope and pray for a speedy and complete recovery for his son, and my condolences on his mothers passing... Sometimes it comes in waves like this, all you can do is stand face into the wind... and move forward best you can... Both are in my thoughts. He and his son have to be devastated...

The fact that they caught this early, and that his son's treatment has started is very important, and puts some light on this darkness.

My own cousin was diagnosed early with Hodgkin s Lymphoma 30 years ago, and he is still doing well after treatment.

Be strong and have faith!
I'm pretty sure your son will have a speedy recover.
He will need a lot of support during the treatment, but the chances of a complete heal are very high for this type of cancer, as far as I know.

Prayers to your friend Mike C. and son. Life's challenges can hit pretty hard at times but with the love, prayers and support of friends, family and a strong belief in God will get them through. I know that from first hand experiences in my own life.
