An Urgent Personal Prayer Request
 

Those of you who have been here for a few years will remember that two years ago, our daughter Amy and our family suffered through an unsuccessful pregnancy while she was carrying twins.

It was a major heartbreak for our family. Living through that tragedy would hardly have been possible if not for the support of our friends... We are strong believers in the power of prayer, and I know many of you are also.

(James 5:16)

We are once again at a similar crossroads. Amy is pregnant with twins. They are due in late August. As you can imagine, the details are very complex, but this is a very high risk pregnancy and I once again come to you and solicit the prayers of my friends.

Please pray that Amy remains healthy, and that these twins develop as they should and healthy, and that the twins will see the light of day and experience the love we have waiting for them... I also request that you have Amy and her twins added to your own church prayer list.

John, you bet, my family and I will be praying for the successful delivery of those two little guys she is carrying. My wife and I lost the twin boys she was carrying many years ago so we do know a little bit about the heartbreak that follows. Please remember to keep us informed of her progress if that is okay with her and her husband.
