Anyone know what ammo they made?

David,
I found a reference to RIO shotgun shells being made there.

Rio ammo, I think just 5.56 right now. if even that after the explosion....

Rio is a major supplier of shotgun ammo, and we bitten with the trap bug really do no need any plants going down at this time. Powder for reloading shotgun shells is on par with .22LR, made from pure unobtainium, and the season is just beginning.

The TV news clip mentioned they manufactured for both military and civilian users, and this would jibe for the category of shotgun shells. Too bad, I heard there was another such plant explosion recently. This danged shortage doesn't need that kind of 'help".

I tried a bit of trap shooting back in the day (early 70s) with my Ithaca SKB SxS. Hey, I broke 20 a couple of times that season! Open shoots at the local rod & gun club...

It seems through all the wacky up an down supply and availability that was going on with ammo, the 12-gauge shot gun shell was the only thing that seemed unaffected.

:mad:Sploding ammo, cept it sploded before its time. Q C issue, sadly. These events do not endear Harry Homeowner to our cause. The media will swarm on this like flies to poop. Jus sayin
