What Is This Chamber Marking?

I saw this as an avatar on Jan's Forum. At first I thought a 1900 Luger, but it seems to have a rear sight (but not an artillery) mounted on the barrel.

Is it a Masonic Luger?? A Japanese Luger?? [A Torii??] Is it a Luger at all??

Flat breechblock/extractor...

BTW: The member, Luger666, does not answer PMs. :(

just ask him in public - he answers my PM's (usually when he is mad at me)

I wondered too - not sure what it is, danish?

The unknown symbol appears to be on a M1902 Presentation Carbine (M1900 extractor, rear of Carbine rear sight and Portugese type crown over an unknown symbol. TH

Ed, my main reason for not spending a lot of time at Jan's site (like I do here - I made this my Home Page) is that there are so many different sub-forums and members only congregate in the sub-forums they are interested in...

I don't know what this member is interested in, to post a question...It could go unanswered forever...Or it may have already been answered, but I don't know what it's called to do a Search...

At one time, I thought this was Albert sneaking back in with a Kansas address...He seems to have the same, um, 'attitude'... :D

It is the crest of Graff Anton (“Max Egon II, Fürst von Fürstenberg (Prince of Fürstenberg (Baden-Württemberg) – Maximilian Egon II Christian Karl Aloys Emil Leo Richard Anton, known by his family name Anton”), a royal personage at the time of Kaiser Wilhelm II. It is a presentation carbine serial number 9110C with the early push-button stock. It is GL marked on the rear of the toggle. It was purchased by Mark Rendina at the last James Julia auction. It was formerly in the collection of Dr. Sturgess and has excellent provenance.

Thanks Ron!
