Beretta M34 animation

Hi,
I'm trying to learn using Flash, and the first attempt is this animation based on a drawing I made myself for the Beretta M34.
My target is to make an animation similar to the one of the Luger displayed in the Forum homepage.
I'm trying, but it's hard!

For your pleasure, I have also a link for an animation of 1911

http://www.m1911.org/STI1911animation2.htm

Regards
Antonio

Whoa!!! There's parts flying all over the place!!! :D

I don't own one, so I can only assume the various pieces are correct. It looks pretty cool! But you have to do a cutaway version to match Gerard's animation...

And ejecting shells...And springs compressing...

Go for it!!!

Yes, the parts are correct.
Here's a preview of the drawing I'm preparing.

The cutaway looks pretty cool! Gotta be hard keeping track of which part is which color...

Nice! Is that the same as a 1934 9mm Corto?

Yes, it is.
Similar to Beretta M1935, but this one is 7,65mm caliber.

I have an old Bertta 1934, manufacture date is 1941 and it bears the mark of RE for the Italian Army! Great little gun, surprisingly it can shoot hollow points!

A canvas holster! That is cool! What branch of the military or police would that be from???

Love the pic of your Beretta!
Playing Yahtzee, smoking Marlboros and cigars, admiring guns and spending time with your Friends.
Good stuff.

Richard,
the canvas holster is an original post-war italian army. It was used for the Beretta 1934 (9 corto or .380 caliber), but it fits as well the Beretta 1935.

Bob,
I enjoy Yahtzee because my son's wife is american citizen, from San Francisco.
But I also enjoy to have a couple of beers or a good bottle of wine with my friends.

Hi,
as I promised I completed the work of Beretta animation.
Here there are a slow version and a fast version, this last one is double speed then the slow one.
Hope all you enjoy them!
If anyone likes, I can send also the .fla files, which can be modified using the Adobe Flash program (not the Player).
As the .fla files are heavy (one is 1.4 Mb and the other is 2.6 Mb) I can send by e-mail under request.

Regards
Antonio

Those are pretty cool!!!

I did notice one 'glitch'...

In the beginning of both animations, the fingergrooves on the slide seem to shift around...

And during the [slow] cutaway, the rear sight bobs up & down...

But still an entertaining animation!!!

I hope you don't mind the 'constructive criticism'...I Beta test PC games a lot... :p

Richard,

I will check 'em out and I will try to fix 'em.

I'm also planning to add a "bang" each time the bullet leaves the muzzle.

Thank you

Antonio
