Anybody lookin' for a shooter, can bid item # 3446459 on , Gun Broker....Last bid:$380... Looks like a 1920 Com'l , .30 cal.,but ART could rebarrel it to 9mm rather inexpesively I think.

Question about SN on barrel. Are my eyes playing tricks or is the 9 over-stamped with a 0 (or vice versa)?

Looking closer - it looks like a 6 is involved as well!!!

This pistol is OBVIOUSLY a forced match
 

That third digit on the barrel has been overstruck with the 9. The barrel serial number is not relevant to the serial number of the pistol unless you are paying for all matching numbers.


I would ask for photos of the serial number on the front of the grip frame also to find out if the suffix letter matches and to make sure that the actual serial number has not been defaced. As a parts gun shooter class, the asking bid price is getting a little high.
