Numrich Gun Parts
 

This is probably one of those "everybody knows that" deal but I didn't & so probably others don't either. I needed grips, two screws and a spring for a Webley Mk VI, took one phone call and a credit card # and they are in the mail. Very personable and helpful in finding the right names of the parts and taking care of business. Marstar is good for disassembly diagrams.

As long as you get good parts from Numrich, consider yourself bless. I sure hope they are paying closer attention to what they ship out for used parts now days. In the past they had a pretty bad rep for sending out parts that were in worst condition than the one you were trying to up grade or replace.

I use to live 30mins from Numrich. When I needed parts I would drive to their store and place my order. Almost always the parts that they would bring out for me were in poor condition. Like it was the first part they pulled out of the bin without looking. I had to send the parts picker back more than once to get me good looking parts. I would often tell the picker to bring out a hand full and I would pick out the part I liked.

I haven't order anything from them in a while now. So like I was saying, I hope they are looking over the parts before sending out.

They sell a kit to convert a Ruger 10/22 to a scaled down MG-42 lookalike. I got one, was tickled with it, so then went out and bought the 10/22. Doing the conversion was a hoot - felt like my old junior high model building days. Also fun as hell to shoot - semi-auto of course. Have pictures of it at the middle school where I work. The kids love it - I tell them every kid is entitled to have one -- it's in the Constitution.

No More Numrich
 

Never Again will I but from Numrich. About two months ago I bought a replacement bolt for my C-96 Broomhandle, it was in such bad shape, covered with rust inside and out, that it took most of a day just to get it cleaned out and sanded down to be ready for blueing. They had the guts to charge me $59.00 for that piece of trash.
