Gunsmith SE PA?

Have a 1911 Erfurt I haven't shoot. Would like to have an expert look at it first. I'm in SE Pa. Thanks

I don't know any gunsmiths in Pennsylvania except maybe Eugene - probably any gunsmith could look it over, but I bet most won't know anything about lugers...

Several things to consider before shooting - is it all matching - is it in nice shape - original - etc - the more original and nice it is, you may not want to shoot it

if it seems like it has a tight action that is a good start :)

Yes indeed! Eugene would probably be happy to stop what he is doing and look over your Luger... :D

Eugene is located in Levittown PA.

Take a camera with you and take pictures of everything you see... :)

From the little time I have spent perusing the forum I guess I have a shooter quality weapon. I haven't broken it down to check every part, a field strip does shows matching parts. And it does have a
tight action. I'm in no hurry and I would like a Luger expert to look at it. Thanks for the reply

Go to the Allentown show (AG Hall) in a month or two and ask around - several 'experts' there
