Magazine restoration?

I'm new to the forum this is my first post. The wood on my 1911 Erfert 9mm magazine is broken and gone. Can the wood be replaced and if so would it be worth the cost vs buying new

Hi,

Yes, if you search a forum member named G.T., he can answer all of your questions and repair your magazine for you.

Sorry for old fart eyes.

Yes, and I agree with everyone else that GT is a true craftsman, a rare thing in todays world, by the way!!!

Hi Bill, welcome to the forum, I recently received from GT 7 mags that I sent to him with several different problems, broken wooden mag bottoms, broken/weak springs, dings, dents, feed lips out of sync, you name it, he had them all repaired and functioning as good as new in a very short time and at a very reasonable cost, you can't go wrong with GT, he is a true gentleman and very skilled at what he does.
