Renaisance to the rescue!
2 Attachment(s)
I was doing my spring holster care and ran acroos my can of Renaissance wax polish and heres the results. A 1908 commercial, 1929 police and a Kreighoff!~Its also used on the gun and grips. As its a wax base it protects from moisture and humidity!! I'm attaching a link where it can be ordered~~~Eric http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss...ax%2Caps%2C444 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renaissance_Wax Hint buy the larger size and you can use it on about everything~

here is msds for this wax. can those petro-chems be good for leather? i have used it on metal but not wood or leathers.
maybe jerry burney can advise? http://www.productosdeconservacion.c...enaissance.pdf |
It was created for the Museum of London; they use it to preserve: art, metal, wood, paper, leather and many other items. I have used it on antique furniture, leather, lugers - including the grips. My use is about a year. Waiting to hear of long term results on Lugers and other guns. Am concerned about the patina, etc.
thanks Jack |
