Now that is one sweet looking little guy, looks like he is going to be a great companion. Had to have my buddy, a Boxer, put down awhile back, he had a brain tumor, it broke my heart. My Daughter is also my Veterinarian so I didn't have to take him to a clinic, she came to our home. Looks like you have a winner there. :)

Yes, he is a Pug puppy. We just brought him home yesterday. This last year has been challenging and heart wrenching for my wife and I. We just recently had to put Oscar our almost 8yr old pug down. Almost one year ago out of the blue he got sick. We took him to the Animal Hospital and the short version of the story is we found out he had kidney disease brought on by deformed kidneys. After testing we found out that most likely it was a birth defect. When he came home a year ago from the Animal hospital we put him on a special Renal diet that kept his condition stable for a year but eventually as the Vet said time caught up with him and his kidneys shut down completely. Then, well came the hard part for us. The last year has been tough with his medical bills so there really hasn't been a lot of money left over for Lugers and the like etc. but that was well with me because he made both my Wife and I Happy. I look forward to this new little guy to continue the same happiness and I am pretty sure he will.

As Will Rogers or Mark Twain ?? said, something like - I don't know where dogs go when they die, but that's where I want to go.

The ruler of our house, Abby Rose, the Westie.

Many years ago I used to live in the countryside and I had Belgian Shepherds, as well as horses

Bill

You remind me the exact words of one of my neighbours when my best friend "Ben" ( a Belgian Shepherd Groenendael) died for a cancer when was just 7 years old.

(Abby Rose looks awake! (like all Terriers are in fact)
