A similar set of gauges can be found on page 77 of The Mauser Parabellum 1930-1946 by D. Hallock & J. van de Kant.
Firing pin length gauge
Front sight base gauge
Mounted front sight gauge

Hi to all, yes, the two with the pin that slips into the bore are for the front sight and most likely the sight block its self, they are marked for, "GO" & "NO GO" just by dimension.. I have no idea what the 8.88 rod is for, except perhaps a go gauge... or minimum acceptable dimension for use?? ...best to all, til...lat'r...GT ....:cheers:
