That is Chuck Whittaker's site...well known to most Luger collectors. He has a world class collection and has written some really neat articles posted on his site. He has the resources to acquire some of the best of the best.

Chuck is a frequent visitor to the Reno show and spends alot of time at Mike Krause's table. Ron is exactly correct on is comment. Chuck frequently brings unbelievably detailed and great photos of his vast luger holster collection. He has a wealth of information to share.

One of which I purchased from George Anderson. The other was repaired by Jerry Burney. One is marked but is too faint to read!~~ Eric

George identified it as "top line in the box is BAX?? which indicates Bekleidungsamt X_, A Bekleidungsamt is a military clothing depot. The roman numeral following theBA indicates the Army Corps district"

Maestro, Chuck may indeed attend the Las Vegas show. Is is closer to his home. You might watch for him if you go. Search out Mike Krause's table as I know Mike will be there.
