1937 Dutch Navy Contract Luger
7 Attachment(s)
I photographed this pistol for my FFL, thought I would share it here. It's all numbers matching and looks correct, down to the double "GELADEN" extractor.
Did the 1937 Dutch contract run from sn 2130 to 2329? If so, this is the last pistol of 1937! It came with a damaged German Navy mag. Jack |
very cool thanks for taking the time to share

Interesting that it has a German imperial navy magazine with it :)
Normal Dutch navy magazines of this era would have blued tubes, wooden Bottoms without additional serial numbers or markings. |
|
I think you would maximise your sale $$ if you sold the German Navy magazine seperately.

For the record, this is not my pistol. I am helping my FFL who is not very familiar with collectable lugers. I did offer that advice about the mag, but he wants to keep them together. I will have him send the buyer GT's info, he did a bang up job on a navy mag for me. It was completely separated through the "0".

Yes! I recently had GT repair an Artillery matching mag for me. It had some ugly brown wood putty in the crack. You have to know it was cracked to spot it now. SUPERLATIVE job of saving a rare matching magazine. Thanks GT!
