Two holsters for identification
5 Attachment(s)
I have two holsters here that I picked up as part of a trade. The leather is old and supple, but I suspect they are probably repo's as there is no dates stamped on the back. If anyone can tell me what they are and approximate worth, I'd appreciate it.

Mark. The holster on the left with the single belt loop is the post 1908 Bulgarian pattern, missing the spare mag pouch snap closure flap and a repair at the toe. The one on the right is a WW2 pattern (back reinforces the mag pouch) standard military issue. These would normally have the maker and date marked on the back, between the belt loops. Tom

The second holster is not a true military issue, as it has a stud closure, rather than a buckle and no evidence of once having a buckle closure, (no stiching for buckle on holster cover and no multiple holes in the tongue).
This is a commercially made holster loosely following the military pattern. |
