Wyatt Imthurm Luger .45 ACP Rare
2 Attachment(s)
I found this on the interweb. Never heard or seen it thought I would put it up here. They want 9 large for it. Anyone know anything about this said there were only 50 made. You have to load from the top?

I want to say I could have bought one for $1200? Most likely was $2000 that time many of us met in Phoenix and we visited Ralph Shattucks house. He had one for sale and I thought it was really cool. Today I would buy it in a heartbeat, but then I didn't know how cool it would be to have a 45 luger :(

The magazine is not removable from the grip because the grip is the magazine.

Seems to me that the physical location and size of the follower (magazine) button inside the grip of the right palm would be an obstacle to good function and comfort for repeat shots... This might be an early example as I don't remember the button being that large, or protruding that much... I think they were smaller in the later made examples (of course unlike Ed, I am occasionally wrong! :D )

John,
I too felt that the follower button would be uncomfortable if not downright cumbersome and inhibit proper functioning of the "magazine". I suspect that it is removable and only in place for loading. All of the other examples of a Wyatt that I have seen (photos) only had a hole in the follower to insert a rod for loading. To the best of my knowledge, the follower slot cutout was only in the right grip, not both sides. |
[QUOTE=Rick W.;245943...maybe specialized retaining lips for feeding as well. Would be interesting to see a view of the top of the feeding area sometime[/QUOTE]
+1, that would be interesting, indeed. And the same question about the breech block could be posed as for that GAP. |
