erfurt arty price
1 Attachment(s)
Hi I found a local erfurt arty with the stock ground off. what would something like that be worth resale?
I dont need it but if its a good price I might go up and grab it. its a 1915 with mismatched barrel and ground stock lug . probably reblued after stock lug mishap. I need another shooter like I need another hole in my head |
An extra shooter could easily be used to create the latter, killing two birds with one stone, so to speak...:D
A couple of years ago, an artie shooter was deemed to be worth $1k minimum. I also have one with the stock lug ground off, but its condition is very nice, with original finish and numbers matching except for the grips which are old replacements. I paid $1200 for it at RIAC--no huge bargain, but I was, and am, happy with it. The Navy in my other post will match it--sans lug and lanyard loop! |
yes, if buying, you'd want to get it for $750-$860 IMO
I think you can sell for around $1000 to a bit more.... Ed |
Erfurt only produced artilleries in 1914,none in 1915.
|
looks like the tip end of the barrel was cut down and front sight moved back. barrel band is missing.
|
thanks to all of you gentlemen I got the seller down to 900 shipped but with no stock lug and not a true artillery its worth about 600 to 750 to me and not enough room to make it worth while for resale
