I have an El Paso test repro. They are very well made. The stitching is much more course than the originals but the rest is close. The price on this one is very high!!!I paid $75 for mine. Bill

The price on this one is very high!!! That's because the seller is a well known crook. STAY away from this guy! When confronted as to his shady dealings he gets like a pimp in your motel room...foul mouthed and threatening.

Pimp in the motel room? Sounds just like behavior of former girlfriend, who needed no motel room...

Thats why they made back seats!

You can't get one of these holsters now for $ 75. I paid $ 125.00 + a couple of years ago, as I recall. They are super in my opinion. They are made from a pattern the El Paso people made from an original they obtained, long ago, as I understand it.
Be sure to tell them the exact gun you seek a holster for. On the first go around, they made mine for a shorter barrel than the 1900 Test Model. They quickly took care of the issue.

Jack,

You understand it correctly. The El Paso holsters were patterned after an authentic Test holster that well known old time collector John Morgan sent to to them have re-sewn.

Still available in the right hand version from El Paso Saddlery...

http://www.epsaddlery.com/pc-105-9-1900-holster.aspx $125.00 they would probably make you a left hand one like the one on ebay for not much more.

Mine for $75 was used. Looks like new. Bill

Thanks to you all.

I'm starting to realize that holsters are a space problem though as you don't dare store the gun in them. If this financial thing gets solved without me parting with my "precious(s)" I am going to get one so El Paso will be my target.

Thanks again.

Anybody have any idea who made this one? I have had it for a long time, haven't ever seen another. Seems to be a very well made holster.
