Leather ammo pouch for luger p08
 

Are there any legit GERMAN ww2 or ww1 Luger Leather Ammunition Pouches? :confused:

here's another pouch that is dated 1936 :rockon:
seems like could be for magazines?! vs. ammo!

I believe the 1936 dated pouch is for the Portugese contract GNR Luger

The 1916 dated pouch is also a Portugese pouch. The stamping is bogus.

It might be commercial, though I'm not sure why a civilian would need to tote that much ammo. Still waiting for one of our experts on vintage leather to contribute a comment about this pouch...

The first pouch shown has nothing to do with Lugers.

I also suspect it has nothing to do with ammo. It probably is just a general purpose belt pouch.

This would help explain my total lack of familiarity with it. I noticed that it is not particularly shaped for the boxes--with the radius-ed ends--other than its depth, which is, though coincidentally approximate to box length...
